Here are pictures of cats submitted to W. V. Cats.  If you would like your cat's picture shown here, email admin@wvcats.com.   The pictures submitted must be of your cat(s).  Include some brief information about your cat.  See submittal guidelines below.

Fluffy

Fluffy is a gorgeous cat from the streets.  She took over a year to let anyone touch her.

Vayna

Vayna was a stray kitten that was living in the tall grass around my house. She is not a huge fan of people but she loves her "brothers" who give her lots of attention and cuddles.

Sweety

Sweety came around one day, and stuck around, so we finally made her ours.  She isn't really always so sweet, but we love her anyway.

Shiloh

Shiloh had a bumpy start in life: he was found in an abandoned house with some other ferals. Someone took him in but kept him in a cage. He was so stiff when I got him and malnourished as well. He had ear mites and worms. He's been fixed and now's gotten a clean bill of health. He is finally trusting humans and is the joy of my days! He's very talkative and affectionate.

Submittal Guidelines

Send photo as an attachment to your email.  The subject of the email must include "WVCats photo submission" (minus the quotation marks), and you can add the cat's name  in the subject line to make it easier for me to keep track of the messages.  Only send in JPG format.  Photos may not be larger than 500 x 500 pixels or smaller than approximately 150 x 150 pixels.  They will be resized and/or cropped to fit the page as needed.  You can resize pictures in the Paint program that comes with Windows operating systems.

Only send pictures of cats- no people's faces included.  It is best if you name the photo to include the cat's name in it in some manner, (such as Blackiesitting,  Blackie12, or Margaretsgalen) to help avoid mixups of photos to text.  You must be the owner of the photograph.  Do not use any spaces in the name of the photo as they can't be uploaded with spaces.  Only use letters or numbers in the name- no apostrophes or other marks or symbols.  The following information must be included in your email:

1)  Your first and last name, and any nickname you might want to be used to identify you.

2)  How you want to be identified in the photo credit- first name only, full name, or a nickname.  (But you must send me your real name in the email message.)

3)  You must include the following statement:

I certify that I am the owner of the picture identified as ___________________ (give the exact picture document name).   I give Margaret of wvcats.com permission to post this picture on the website www.wvcats.com
